TXT 2K Tintable Texture Coating is a 2-part polyurethane paint system that delivers exceptional durability and protection. It is designed for use in Australia's tough environment and offers versatility in applications such as undercarriages, trailers, caravans, and more. The coating can be easily tinted to any colour and applied with multiple methods, including a spray gun, roller, or brush.

Kit Includes:

• TXT Coating 2K Part A (720ml)
• TXT Hardener Part B (200ml)

Features:

• Durable Protection: Guards against rust, corrosion, UV damage, and harsh chemicals like fuels and oils.
• Versatile Application: Can be applied with Schutz gun, HVLP gun, roller, or brush.
• Customisable Finish: Tintable to any colour and capable of creating both smooth and textured finishes.

Application instructions for TXT Coating 2K:

Bare Metal, Aluminum, and Galvanised Steel:

1. Abrade with 80-180 grit sandpaper.
2. Clean with solvent-based wax and grease remover or isopropanol to remove dust, grease, oils, and contaminants.
3. TXT Coating 2K can be applied directly to metal, but for best corrosion protection, use a suitable primer (etch or epoxy) before applying TXT Coating 2K.
4. If using primer, ensure it is fully cured and abraded to ensure maximum adhesion.

Rigid Plastic / Fiberglass:

1. Abrade with 80-180 grit sandpaper.
2. Clean with solvent-based wax and grease remover or isopropanol.
3. TXT Coating 2K can be applied directly to rigid plastic or fiberglass surfaces.

Flexible Plastics:

1. Abrade with 180-240 grit sandpaper.
2. Clean with solvent-based wax and grease remover or isopropanol.
3. Apply a plastic adhesion promoter before TXT Coating 2K for best adhesion.

Wood:

1. Apply TXT Coating 2K directly to dry, clean wood.
2. Avoid using liquid solvents for cleaning.

Tinting Instructions:

Tinter: Add 2K Colour or Basecoat tinter to TXT Coating 2K Tintable.

• Recommended tinting amount: Up to 20% by volume.
• Compatible with urethane, acrylic solid colours, and mixed acrylic base coats (including metallics).

Note:

• TXT Coating 2K cannot be mixed with water-based, polyester, or enamel paints.
• Due to its opaque base and textured nature, exact colour matches with the manufacturer's top coat finishes are unrealistic.
